(En anglais seulement) On Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, the Centre de justice de proximité du Grand Montréal invites you to participate in its free Small Claims information session.
Are you thinking of applying to the Small Claims Court? Want to understand the different steps? Are you being sued before the Small Claims Court?
The focus of this information session is to demystify the major steps leading up to the hearing, the process of the proceeding, the evidence and the execution of the judgment, and thus be better equipped to properly present and defend your case.
This is a public information session: both community stakeholders and the general public may participate. Note that the lawyer will not give legal advice but will help you better understand the workings of the Small Claims Court.
When? Thursday October 18, from 6 pm to 8.30 pm.
Due to new security measures at the Montreal court house, we ask you to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the session and bring an ID document.
Thank you for your understanding!
Beginning of the information session at 6:00 pm
Where? At the Montreal Courthouse, 10 Saint-Antoine East, Room 2.16.
